Business Blogging Tips and Why Chinaful’s Photos are the Best

Since starting Chinaful, I’ve learned a lot about blogging. The technical parts, yes–and also what it takes to get readers, try to be consistent with posting, and always finding content. While every blogger has their own voice, there are definitely a few key facets of a good business blog.

In May, I’ll be speaking to businesses and professionals in the funeral industry about what makes a good blog. While China and the funeral industry might seem to be completely unrelated, there are actually many businesses in the funeral industry that import from China and run into just the sorts of legal and business issues that I focus on in my practice. And, no matter what business you’re in, blogging to convey information about your products, knowledge, or services is best communicated in generally the same ways.

For example, I’m a big proponent of pictures and video, where possible.  I also like to share original photos as much as I can, since it’s content you’ll only find here on Chinaful.  While there are likely millions of photos of China a google search away, the ones you see on Chinaful are often only available here, taken by me or other contributors. Likewise, we try to keep our content unique while informative and–most important to me–accessible.   It’s always my goal that Chinaful delivers on all these facets of a good blog in every post.
